That’s right, friends, it’s time to check out the schedule for our weekly public coffee cuppings. This week we will be having a good old time at our 31st St. Lab at:
Tuesday at 11am,
Thursday at 5pm,
and Friday at noon.
For those that haven’t been to a cupping before (I suppose I should give this spiel at least once every few weeks), cuppings are different from the in-store tastings we do all the time in that cupping is a ritual that involves more than just tasting. We start every cupping off by evaluating the aroma of the freshly-ground coffee before smelling again during the brew process and, finally, tasting several times (while loudly slurping) after the coffee has cooled enough to properly experience its taste. It’s a fun process to go through, whether you’re a coffee pro or you just want to give something potentially cool a shot. Set aside 40 minutes or so, come down to to the lab, we’ll play some jams, we’ll learn a little, we’ll have some good, clean, caffeinated fun!
