Gifting at Gregorys

December 10, 2014

'Tis the season of cold weather and warm living rooms. Time ticking and not sure what to get that seemingly all-abstaining friend who leads you to ask yourself: "What on earth does he/she like?" The answer may lie in that ubiquitous morning ritual/daily rush/convenor of friendship: coffee. We at Gregorys have all grounds covered in that regard, including some attire that'll add symbolic gravity to this almost mythopoeic pastime. Just to be clear on this, we are currently in stock:

 Much of a Merchness

To either side of the white snapback we have 2/3 of our single origins on show: La Acosteña from Costa Rica and Thunguri PB from Kenya. If ever there was reason to excite an unexpecting amigo on the sybaritic delights provided by single origin coffee, these - along with our "Boy-oh-boya" Borboya from Ethiopia - will be certain to do the trick. To get a further sense of the history and flavor notes of these coffees, clicking here would be a good start.

Of course coffee beans are all well and good, but it helps to find a great way to brew them. If you've visited one of our stores, you'll have come across one significant raison d'être: the Aeropress Bar. Here we use an infusion brewing method that grants the kind of clarity in coffee once only dreamed about; a means of extracting the flavor notes inherent to the coffee seed that grant cohesion to the term terroir. They currently sell at $28.99 and add new life to your kitchen. Once again, we are in stock:

 Tree time

When presents can't fit under the tree, it's best to keep a four-tier shelf.

Not just in stock, we are ornate as a reindeer at this time of year. Even if not to seek out gifts, stopping by our stores presents a pretty picture to the eye and offers a chance to listen to that all-time classic you wait the year-round to hear. What's more, we're giving out free 12oz drinks if you come with a paper snowflake in tow; a snowball effect to be sure, we're pasting them up on our walls once received and won't be satisfied until every crevice is covered.

Swervin' on that Snowflake

A latte to stay is a good choice.
