And it’s Friday? AND the rain just stopped? What a wonderful day!
1. Abakundakawa- Rwanda
Sounds a lot like our last Rwandan coffee, Dukunde Kawa, right? But think of Abakundakawa as Dukunde Kawa’s brighter, happier cousin that tastes of Cola, lime, vanilla, and melon. Our Aussie Brooklyn friends at Toby’s Estate roast this coffee.
2. Panchoy- Guatemala
Our fifth run of Gregorys Coffee Select, Panchoy is characteristic of a Guatemalan coffee with nuttier flavor notes than our last Guatemalan single origin, Miralvalle. Specifically, the flavor notes are dark chocolate, apple, and roasted almond. Fun fact: Panchoy means “large lagoon” in the language of the Cachiquel tribe of Guatemala and is grown in soil full of volcanic ash from the Agua, Fuego, and Acatenango volcanos!
3. Kochere- Ethiopia
Kochere is our sixth run of our GCS program and hails from the motherland of coffee- Ethiopia! A wonderful example of Yirgacheffe coffees, Kochere is quite the delicate fruity flower bomb. You’ll taste tangerine, pistachios, and hibiscus with this one. If you were a fan of the vibrantly flavored Gelana Abaya, you’ll definitely enjoy Kochere.
Also, don’t forget that you can have any of our single origins over ice!
