Our first week of cuppings was as fun as predicted. A nice mix of baristas and Gregulars showed up and tasted a rotation of coffees we serve at the shop, samples from roasters and importers, and coffees we’ve picked up on our journeys throughout the city. We had a lot of fun throwing notes such as "hot wings" and "marzipan" on coffees, and we can’t wait to do it some more! The schedule for next week will be: - Wednesday, September 18th: 5:30pm - Thursday, September 19th: noon - Friday, September 20th: noon As always, cuppings take place at our training lab, above our shop at 874 Avenue of the Americas (at the corner of 31st St. and 6th Ave). Whether you’re a coffee pro or you’ve never tasted a coffee that didn’t just "taste like coffee", you should come by and have some fun with us.
