Lions, and tigers, and polar bears! Oh my!
Happy Monday everyone!
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We've been spending ours trying to recover from our super fun sprit animal themed latte art throwdown at 2 Park Ave this past Friday night.
Our judges for the evening were (L to R): Jeff, Maciej the Polar Bear, Emma, Bailey the Little Girl, and Greg the Owl (?)
For those of you who aren't familiar with Gregorys Coffee throwdown rules, they are as follows:
-Two pourers at a time
-Pourers begin at the same time
-Pourers bring their lattes to judges, preferrably without spilling
-Judges point at which cup they find the most luscious
-Winners continue to the next round until the finals
If the costumes had anything to do with it, I'm sure it would have made it a lot more difficult than it already was to choose a winner!
And after all of the foamy, spilled, under-contrasted, and smudged lattes were weeded out, the two finalists were Phillipe and Evelyn both from 31st st.
And Miss Evelyn took home the glory for the evening with an adorable tulip!
